About the role

  • The Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients in an inpatient setting.
  • This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient needs.
  • Monitor and document patient status, including changes in condition, pain, and response to treatments.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
  • Ensure patient safety and maintain a therapeutic and supportive environment.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of recent acute care experience in an institutional setting required.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Valid driver's license with a reliable, insured vehicle, if required for operational needs.
  • Visual acuity and hearing to perform required nursing skills.
  • Minimum Qualifications:

Nice to have

  • Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university (or international equivalent) preferred.
  • One (1) year of home care and/or Hospice experience preferred.
