About the role
- The Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients in an inpatient setting.
- This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Monitor and document patient status, including changes in condition, pain, and response to treatments.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
- Ensure patient safety and maintain a therapeutic and supportive environment.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year of recent acute care experience in an institutional setting required.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Valid driver's license with a reliable, insured vehicle, if required for operational needs.
- Visual acuity and hearing to perform required nursing skills.
- Minimum Qualifications:
Nice to have
- Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university (or international equivalent) preferred.
- One (1) year of home care and/or Hospice experience preferred.
