Responsibilities

  • Perform project management duties and oversee structural analysis, design, and detailing on a variety of projects.
  • Collaborate with the architect, owner, and contractor to provide a well-coordinated and high-quality set of structural drawings.
  • Lead a team of engineers, designers, and drafters to execute structural designs.
  • Meet with the project team to ensure effective communication flow during design.
  • Ability to build and maintain a strong team of professionals and support staff within a cooperative multidiscipline office performing at a high level of satisfaction to clients.

  • Our offices provide several engineering discipline services, which work together collaboratively to provide complete engineering design packages.

Requirements

  • Experience with the latest release of Autodesk Revit design tools.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in structural engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with the structural design of buildings or similar structures.
  • Licensed California Civil (PE) required.
  • Licensed California Structural Engineer (SE) preferred.
  • 47 years in business
  • Multi-discipline engineering services plus corrosion control, commissioning and project/construction management

Skills

  • Experience with structural computer analysis software systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
  • Excellent leadership, supervisory, and writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and time management skills.

Compensation

  • $95,000.00 to $140,000.00, depending on education, experience, and licensure.
  • Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
