About the role
- Responsible for managing projects within WuXi TIDES.
- The incumbent will also participate in business development activities such as visiting existing or new clients and promoting WuXi TIDES's services in conferences/trade shows.
- Prepare Quotations/Proposals with inputs from key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned Project team members, set expectation, provide direction, guidance, and feedback.
- Support technical team to investigate potentially serious situations and implements corrective measures.
- Collaborate with and provides support to business development team to attend customer visits, conferences or tradeshows.
- During the first year, international travel may increase to up to 50% to support onboarding, knowledge transfer, and training.
Requirements
- Masters (MS) or PhD in Organic Chemistry A minimum of 10 years pharmaceutical or CRO/CMO industry experience preferably in process R&D, API development and manufacturing area.
- Prior experience in project management or managing external research collaborations.
Skills
- Coordinates with other PM, BD, and scientific counterparts to provide appropriate solutions to clients.
- Ensure coordination of efforts and ensure good communication with all parties.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required.
- Excellent communications skills (verbal, written, and presentation skills).
- Ability to use all Microsoft Office products Location: Remote within the U.S. with international travel of up to 35%, primarily to China.
