About the role
- The team combines technical depth with automation and innovation, embedding security across our platforms to ensure resilience and stay ahead of evolving threats.
- Security Engineers are hands-on builders who strengthen Collibra's defense posture through engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- We create inclusion and belonging through how we onboard, meet, connect, engage, and communicate.
- You will design and implement security automation or architectural improvements that measurably strengthen Collibra's security posture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Security Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD workflows and IAC
- Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and incident response tools.
- Strong understanding of network and application security concepts, identity and access management, and encryption practices.
- Working knowledge of Data Analysis / Data Science concepts and tooling (SQL, Python, etc.)
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent related experience.
- Because this role supports the US government, it is required that this candidate be a US citizen who resides on US soil.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, Copilot) to solve real-world business challenges, drive measurable outcomes, or streamline workflows.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience is required

- Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.
Compensation
- The standard base salary range for this position is $116000 - $145000 per year.
- This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation.
