About the role
- IPEX is one of the North American leading providers of advanced plastic piping systems.
- We currently have an exciting opportunity as an HSE Specialist.
- This role is based in our Fort Pierce FL plant.
Responsibilities
- Implement and improve HSE programs and site-specific procedures
- Deliver training and drive engagement in safety initiatives
- Conduct audits, gap analyses, and develop action plans
- Support investigations of incidents and environmental releases
- Maintain HSE documentation, KPIs, and compliance reporting
- Partner with cross functional teams to strengthen safe work practices
- Support hazardous materials programs and training
- We're seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to support our plant and distribution operations.
- In this role, you'll help maintain and improve our HSE Management Systems, lead safety initiatives, conduct observations, support incident investigations, and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
- Professional development and certification support
Requirements
- 5+ years of HSE experience, including 3+ years in manufacturing
- At least an associate's degree in occupational health & safety
- Strong communication and training skills
- Solid computer and technical aptitude
Nice to have
- CSP certification is a plus
