About the role
- You will be deeply hands-on in the early days, talking to users, mapping workflows, prototyping, designing core product experiences, and partnering closely with product and engineering to ship.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product design. Contribute to design across Treeswift's core platform, from discovery and workflow mapping through polished designs, prototypes, implementation details, and post-launch iteration.
- Design for complex, real-world operational decisions.
- You will design interfaces that make dense, multidimensional data understandable and actionable for arborists, storm responders, and utility operations teams.
- Build scalable product and design systems. Own our design system, component library, interaction patterns, and visual language. Help turn customer-specific workflows into reusable primitives that keep the product coherent as we expand.
- Partner deeply across functions. Work closely with product, engineering, forward deployed engineers, customer teams, and sales to translate customer needs into high-quality product experiences.
- Shape design culture at Treeswift.

- 5+ years of professional product design experience, including meaningful time shipping complex B2B, enterprise software.
- A portfolio that shows strong craft across interaction design, information design, and visual design, especially for data-dense interfaces.
- Own end-to-end product design.
Requirements
- Nice-to-have, but not required
- Comfort operating as a senior IC and a leader simultaneously.
Skills
- Fluency designing and maintaining design systems in production.
- Experience designing for geospatial, 3D, or map-heavy interfaces.
- Prior work in utilities, energy, infrastructure, construction, logistics, or other sectors with a large field or industrial component.
