Advanced degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD) preferred.
A minimum of 15 years Medical Affairs experience within the biopharma industry.
Prior experience in product launch or launches in ophthalmology.
Experience in global/regional/local medical practice and healthcare ecosystems.
Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP), region regulations and guidelines, and applicable international regulatory requirements.
Finance/budgeting and resource management experience.
Skilled at effectively presenting ideas and documenting complex medical/clinical concepts in both written and oral communication.
History of solving problems while exhibiting superior judgment and a balanced, realistic understanding of issues.
Ensures representation of the patient perspective/ "voice of patient".

Medical Affairs Operations - focused on communication, medical education, advisory management, and patient advocacy.
Partner closely with the organization in the establishment of our market access strategies that enables plans for pricing, reimbursement, and access.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and regulatory authorities to ensure proper and ethical interactions between medical affairs personnel and external stakeholders.
As a key member of the ophthalmology core team, provide deep medical and scientific expertise on medical affairs, launch, and lifecycle strategies.
