About the role
- Time is spent routing and processing transcription and delivering reports to physicians for review in a timely manner.
- Core responsibility is to capture accurate and detailed documentation of the patient encounter in a timely manner.
- Experience Qualifications - 1 year Experience as a scribe, Medical Assistant (MA), Patient Care Technician (PCT) or related experience performing transcription duties.
Responsibilities
- Reports to work as scheduled, does not create a burden to department by tardiness.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Significant standing may be required if exam room presence is requested for documentation.
- Hearing the physician and patient comments clearly is required.
- Required for All Jobs
Skills
- Must have a working knowledge of medical terminology. (Required proficiency)
Compensation
- Abide by Stormont Vail's Remote Worker Policy and will review and acknowledge the Remote Work Agreement annually.
