About the role

  • Time is spent routing and processing transcription and delivering reports to physicians for review in a timely manner.
  • Core responsibility is to capture accurate and detailed documentation of the patient encounter in a timely manner.
  • Experience Qualifications - 1 year Experience as a scribe, Medical Assistant (MA), Patient Care Technician (PCT) or related experience performing transcription duties.

Responsibilities

  • Reports to work as scheduled, does not create a burden to department by tardiness.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Significant standing may be required if exam room presence is requested for documentation.
  • Hearing the physician and patient comments clearly is required.
  • Required for All Jobs

Skills

  • Must have a working knowledge of medical terminology. (Required proficiency)

Compensation

  • Abide by Stormont Vail's Remote Worker Policy and will review and acknowledge the Remote Work Agreement annually.
