Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of Fixed Income Prime Brokerage activities - customer cash projections, settlements, trade processing, and setup.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
  • Understanding of and experience with Fixed Income Prime Brokerage.
  • Experience with Fedwire, DTCC clearing, and international settlements.

Nice to have

  • The Operations Team is seeking to add an impactful individual with experience across the Fixed Space as well as the aptitude and attitude to continue to learn.
  • The candidate will be asked to take on leadership responsibilities within the team in addition to their daily work.
  • This will include supervision/approval of daily team tasks, oversight of more junior team members and ownership and/or involvement in overall process improvement.
  • The Marex Ops team is responsible for supporting full life cycle events for all fixed income products traded by the various businesses.
  • While a large portion of the daily functions have been outsourced to the Broadridge Manager Products Team, Marex is ultimately accountable for all output, and thus supervising the Broadridge team's work is imperative.
  • While everyone on the team has a daily focus, everyone is cross trained as much as possible.
  • The team places a strong emphasis on its control framework ensuring controls are followed and always evaluated for improvement.

  • Skills and Experience At least 1-3 (one to three) years' fixed Income experience required.

  • Broadridge Impact & Pershing NetX360 experience required.
  • Understanding of trade life cycle events strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting both Fixed Income trading of corporate bonds and US treasuries.

Compensation
