About the role

Your primary focus will be technical hiring across AI/ML, infrastructure, full-stack engineering, and developer tools, with secondary coverage across GTM and marketing as we scale.
This is an execution-heavy role for someone who gets energy from sourcing, screening, calibrating, closing, and keeping candidates moving.
It is not a pure strategy or management-track role.

Own full-cycle recruiting for primarily technical roles, from search strategy and sourcing through offer negotiation and close.
Partner closely with hiring managers to define requirements, calibrate on profiles, run high-signal interview loops, and keep candidates moving as priorities shift.
Deliver high-quality candidate slates with strong judgment around technical depth, motivation, trajectory, and fit.
Own candidate experience from first touchpoint through close, ensuring every interaction reflects LlamaIndex's brand and values.
The ability to go deep quickly on unfamiliar technical domains and build credibility with hiring managers and candidates.
Strong talent judgment, with the ability to deliver high-precision slates and reduce calibration cycles.

2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth startup or technical recruiting environment.
A strong track record hiring technical talent across AI/ML, infrastructure, platform engineering, full-stack engineering, or developer tools.
Build a strong understanding of our products, technical stack, and culture so you can assess candidates accurately and represent LlamaIndex well in the market.

Familiarity with the AI/ML ecosystem, open-source developer communities, or developer tools.
Experience supporting GTM, marketing, or non-technical hiring in addition to technical roles.
Experience coordinating with external agencies or recruiting vendors.
This role is in-person at our downtown San Francisco office.
