  • The Head of Operations serves as the senior operational leader supporting two campuses: AMS South Mountain and AMS Glendale.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of campus assets, equipment, and inventory across both campuses.
  • Manage front office operations and supervise campus support staff to ensure excellent service for students and families.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of campus operations staff.
  • Partner with school leadership on workforce planning, staffing decisions, and employee relations.
  • Manage campus-level purchasing and ensure adherence to AMS financial policies and procedures.
  • Support operational planning and process improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Coordinate with network teams to support operational initiatives and campus growth.
  • This is a high-impact, multi-campus leadership role that requires strong operational expertise, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced school environment.
  • Support non-instructional student services including:
  • Serve as the primary on-site HR partner for both campuses in collaboration with the AMS Human Resources team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operations, management, or leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of operational management principles and best practices.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting HR functions such as hiring, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Familiarity with student information systems and enrollment platforms.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams or operations across multiple sites.

Compensation

  • $70,000 - $80,000 annually (DOE)
