Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior HCBP and Finance leaders to understand business priorities and help align HR programs and initiatives in support of team objectives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support workforce planning discussions and talent-related needs.
  • Work closely with Centers of Excellence (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Talent Development & Culture, Compensation) to help implement HR initiatives and programs.
  • Support talent planning and succession planning for the Finance organization.
  • Support performance management processes and provide guidance on employee development and career growth conversations.
  • Contribute to organizational effectiveness initiatives, including change management, team development, and culture-building efforts.
  • Leverage HR data and metrics to identify trends and support recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and follow-up action planning efforts.
  • Partner with Employee Relations and Legal teams to help address employee relations matters and provide guidance to managers.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of managing simultaneous processes, prioritizing a heavy workload and working across/coordinating among multiple functions within an organization
  • displays the ability to work independently
  • Ability to collect, analyses, and distil information for management presentations
  • HRIS experience (preferably Workday) - system navigation, data maintenance, reporting, etc.
  • Strong client and commercial focus with outstanding judgement and strong influencing skills
  • Clear intellectual curiosity with the drive and potential to succeed in a fast-paced work environment, having shown comfort with the ambiguity of an evolving, dynamic firm
  • Strong execution and project management skills - highly organized, very detail oriented, proactive problem- solver, solutions-oriented, and a knack for anticipating obstacles and addressing issues early
  • Self-starter - someone who "rolls up his/her sleeves and gets things done"

Nice to have

  • 10+ years of HR generalist experience, or other relevant HR experience, with a world-class global financial services firm - prior experience with Finance teams preferred

Compensation

  • $145,000 - $175,000 USD
