About the role

  • This role independently completes routine and moderately complex assignments while supporting engine testing, facility modifications, and continuous operation of test equipment.
  • Execute work in accordance with engineering procedures, specifications, and test instructions.
  • Diagnose and resolve routine equipment and system issues.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, operational checkout, troubleshooting, and maintenance of test stand equipment and hardware.
  • Fabricate, install, troubleshoot, and maintain fluid system tubing, piping, and associated hardware.
  • Assemble, install, maintain, and replace instrumentation and sensors used for propulsion test systems.
  • Perform disassembly, inspection, precision cleaning, and reassembly of valves, regulators, and related components.
  • Support modifications to existing test stands and construction of new testing facilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in medium- to heavy-industrial maintenance, instrumentation, propulsion testing, data acquisition and control systems, avionics hardware, mechanical systems, or related technical work
  • or an Associate's degree in a related mechanical or electrical technical discipline.
  • Experience installing and maintaining fluid systems and mechanical components.
  • Experience installing and maintaining sensors, instrumentation, and electronic test equipment.
  • Experience with instrumentation, data acquisition, or avionics systems.
  • Experience fabricating and installing fluid system tubing and hardware.

Skills

  • Safely operate fabrication tools and testing equipment.
