About the role

This role reports to the Financial Reporting Supervisor in our Downtown Houston, TX office.
Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
Salary and level commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Ensures accuracy and consistency across all SEC filings (e.g., 10-K, 10-Q, etc), including earnings releases and investor presentations and maintain organized tie-out supporting documentation

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar discipline
Minimum 1 year of experience
Familiarity with accounting research tools
Ability to work in fast-paced environment

Nice to have

CPA license (or actively pursuing certification)
Experience with data analytics, visualization, and automation tools
Upstream oil and gas accounting experience
Experience with Workiva
Ability to independently draft accounting position papers
Experience with Planful (or similar applications such as OneStream or Hyperion)

Compensation

Salary and level commensurate with experience.
