About the role

  • This role will focus on the rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats.
  • This team will be based out of Colorado Springs, CO.
  • The estimated salary range for this position is $155,000.00 - $180,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating current software architectures and implement meaningful improvements to ensure a robust, field-ready solution.
  • Developing specialized tools to assess cyber vulnerabilities, prioritize cyber investments, and protect against unauthorized intrusion, corruption, and destruction of Space Force networks.

Requirements

  • Must have SAFe for Teams certification
  • Experience in the following Programming languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, & Angular
  • Familiarity and knowledge of: Apache Spark, Kubernetes, Kafka, SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker, GIT, Linux, Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Artifactory, GitLab
  • Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Providing strategic advice, technical expertise, and mentorship to program and project staff, performing all functional duties independently.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty plus 3 years' experience in full stack development
