About the role

  • The University of Chicago Law School seeks an Admissions Coordinator.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the Admissions inbox and answers calls for the Admissions Office.
  • Processes JD, Transfer, and MLS online applications and supports application processes.
  • Provides administrative and event support to the Doctoroff Program and Rubenstein Program.
  • Maintains and updates the Admissions web and electronic content.

Requirements

  • include a college or university degree in related field.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in student services strongly preferred.

  • Preferred Competencies
  • Ability to effectively communicate with faculty, graduate students, various administrative offices at all levels in the University, and external constituents.

Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with web content management systems.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong initiative and resourcefulness in problem-solving and commitment to providing a high level of service with a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to multi-task while maintaining a calm and courteous demeanor.
  • Knowledge of the University of Chicago's policies and procedures.
  • This position is available for partially remote work based on the business needs of the Law School.
  • Evening and weekend hours are required for admitted student events, orientation, and occasional other events.

Compensation

  • $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 The included pay rate or range represents the University's good faith estimate of the possible compensation offer for this role at the time of posting.
