About the role
- Assembly Technicians play a crucial role in constructing, assembling, and testing new motors, pumps and equipment following detailed engineering drawings.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and documents to assemble and test high-quality motors, pumps, and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiencies within the assembly and testing areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
- Level 2 (Intermediate Experience): Assembler with moderate experience who can work independently, understand technical documents, and perform more complex tasks under supervision.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related manufacturing environment.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in assembly work.
- Familiarity with measuring equipment and tools.
- Ability to lift 35lbs from floor to workbench.
- The ideal candidate will have some experience in an assembly environment, be proficient in reading/interpreting engineering drawings, and possess the ability to use various measuring equipment with precision.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical engineered drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting and manage time effectively to meet production deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical training or certification is a plus.
