About the role
- This role ensures production meets key performance indicators while adhering to safety, quality, health, and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC Lathe and/or 5-axis milling machines to produce high-quality components.
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure products meet specifications and comply with production guidelines.
- document and report all changes and corrections.
- Collaborate with Engineering to optimize machining techniques, tooling selection, and programming strategies.
- Utilize manufacturing reporting systems to track production metrics and maintain accurate records.
- Make necessary adjustments to CNC programs and machine setups; document and report all changes and corrections.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC milling experience.
- Experience with machining and cutting operations required.
- Domestic travel may be required.
- Proven experience with CNC Lathe and/or 5-axis milling equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding of machining principles and CNC programming.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to have
- Associate Degree or Diploma from a Technical College or Trade School preferred.
- Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing preferred.
