About the role

  • The Inline Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the APET extrusion line from material preparation through former and trim press.
  • This role ensures proper material handling, consistent sheet quality, and achievement of production standards.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor process conditions to maintain consistent product quality and throughput.
  • Perform start-ups, and shutdowns in accordance with standard procedures, and assist with changeovers Identify and resolve routine process or quality issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and on time.
  • plastics extrusion preferred. Experience with PET material handling systems preferred. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. High School Diploma or GED required. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed.
