  • Job description: The Service Engineer III is an advanced-level, independently capable field and workshop technician responsible for performing complex maintenance, overhaul, troubleshooting, and repair work on industrial turbochargers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced disassembly, inspection, balancing, repair, and reassembly of industrial turbochargers
  • Provide support and mentoring to Service Engineer I & II team members
  • Maintain strong customer communication and identify potential service opportunities
  • Accelleron's 3,000 employees are continuously innovating to deliver best-in-class products, services, and solutions that are mission-critical for the energy transition.
  • The position also serves as a mentor and technical resource for junior engineers and plays a key role in identifying service opportunities that support Accelleron's business growth.

Nice to have

  • High school diploma required
  • technical degree preferred
  • 6+ years of turbocharger or rotating equipment service experience
  • Proven ability to independently complete field service jobs
  • Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and balancing skills
  • Knowledge of RCA, NDT, and failure reporting preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills
  • Willingness to travel and work in industrial environments
