About the role
- This position plays a critical role in advancing Insulet's analytics strategy, enabling smarter business decisions, accelerating innovation, and supporting the development of life-changing technologies like Omnipod.

- The Manager Analytics Operations role is a highly technical leadership position in Insulet's Analytics COE responsible for the execution of global analytics and data science initiatives, according to Insulet's data analytics strategy.
Responsibilities
- Interface with IT, executives, and numerous cross functional leaders across the breadth of the organization to identify data science opportunities with extraordinary business value and then coordinate, mentor, guide and support the Analytics COE scientists to fully realize the potential value.
- Manage a team of data scientists to execute high quality data science and analytics efforts and provide excellent leadership to continually develop their potential and ensure retention of talented people.
- Maintain a yearly budget with periodic updates and reforecasting.
- With its simple, wearable design, the tubeless disposable Pod provides up to three days of non-stop insulin delivery, without the need to see or handle a needle.
- Insulet's flagship innovation, the Omnipod 5 Automated Insulin Delivery System, integrates with a continuous glucose monitor to manage blood sugar with no multiple daily injections, zero fingersticks, and can be controlled by a compatible personal smartphone in the U.S. or by the Omnipod 5 Controller.
- Insulet also leverages the unique design of its Pod by tailoring its Omnipod technology platform for the delivery of non-insulin subcutaneous drugs across other therapeutic areas.
Requirements
- Occasional travel may be required:
- Perform statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and generate automated reporting as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Master's with 5+ years of experience or PhD degree with 3+ years of experience in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a closely related field is required.

- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and one or more relational databases, such as Oracle, Teradata, Microsoft SQL Server, etc
- Knowledge of diabetes pathophysiology, insulin signaling, and/or human physiology
- Knowledge in non-relational databases (MongoDB) is a plus
- Experience in Business Intelligence tools, such as Spotfire, Tableau, Cognos
- Demonstrated knowledge of software engineering principles and practices
Compensation
- Compensation & Benefits:For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $168,800.00 - $253,250.00This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including
