Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience working independently with a high level of dependability
  • Experience handling a high volume of data with sharp attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using Excel and/or data platforms
  • Must have access to a computer and high-speed internet service
  • Music business knowledge with an emphasis on copyright and licensing fundamentals
  • FOCUS AREAS​
  • Research copyright information
  • Reviewing publishing agreements and documentation
  • Gathering data and information from internal or external partners about conflicts or disputes and entering into an account database
  • Preparing notices of dispute that are correct and of high quality
  • Track activity with notices and routinely conduct clean-up tasks to maintain accurate information
  • Escalate complicated conflicts for further review and align on next steps for resolution.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CRM systems is preferred
  • Experience with computer focused work for long periods of time preferred
