Requirements
- Proven experience working independently with a high level of dependability
- Experience handling a high volume of data with sharp attention to detail
- Proficiency in using Excel and/or data platforms
- Must have access to a computer and high-speed internet service
- Music business knowledge with an emphasis on copyright and licensing fundamentals
- FOCUS AREAS
- Research copyright information
- Reviewing publishing agreements and documentation
- Gathering data and information from internal or external partners about conflicts or disputes and entering into an account database
- Preparing notices of dispute that are correct and of high quality
- Track activity with notices and routinely conduct clean-up tasks to maintain accurate information
- Escalate complicated conflicts for further review and align on next steps for resolution.
Nice to have
- Experience with CRM systems is preferred
- Experience with computer focused work for long periods of time preferred
