Responsibilities
- Identifies and addresses project risks associated with information access, workflows, timeliness and quality and develops mitigation strategies with the support of management
- NSO is seeking a Clinical Content Specialist with expertise in pediatric audiology to support wave in IHP oversight.
- The Clinical Content Specialist will support training and mentorship initiatives for IHP audiologists to reinforce clinical excellence and consistency across the program.
- Provides support to IHP Lead Agencies, service providers, hospitals, midwifery practices and other partners to ensure timely, reliable, valid and usable data.
- The Clinical Content Specialist develops the communication, engagement, adoption and change management strategies for the implementation and maintenance of new provincial clinical care systems and the supporting technology.
- They have deep clinical knowledge of the relevant clinical program to lead the provincial adoption of new systems to support the delivery of clinical care.
- A proven change management expert, this individual coordinates the efforts of internal and external partners and the different clinical areas to successfully adopt new clinical systems and/or technology, often at the point of care.
- The Clinical Content Specialist is responsible for maintaining communication and engagement with a variety of partners and ensuring that all parties are working together; generates buy-in and participation on projects from all provincial parties and resolves conflicts where necessary using sophisticated facilitation skills.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience working as an audiologist with a pediatric population (Essential)
- proficiency in MS Office suite (Essential)
- Criminal Record Check (Essential)
- Registration / Eligible for Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (Essential)
- Extensive experience with Infant Hearing Program protocols (Preferred)
- Bilingualism (English/French) (Preferred)
- Comprehensively use computer technology and equipment
- Demonstrates exceptional analytical and facilitation skills (Essential)
- Deal effectively with internal and external stakeholders (Essential)
- Experience and knowledge of health systems, and healthcare delivery in Ontario (Essential)
- Capacity to communicate orally & verbally to a wide range of audiences (Essential)
- Establish positive work environment and high performing team standards (Essential)
