Responsibilities

  • Interact closely with internal partners in sales, merchandising, procurement, logistics and product compliance, performing daily/routine tasks to support the Key Account Team
  • Communicate and maintain productive relationships with overseas vendors on a daily basis

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 Years of work experience in wholesale/retail industry, supporting sales of Consumer goods (Hard and/or Soft)
  • Experience dealing with overseas vendors
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • strong knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and other related systems.
  • Effective time management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to excel in fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
  • Develop Giftcraft/Customer pricing spreads, including Domestic/FOB pricing and required customer markdowns and allowances, for review by the Senior Key Account Team
  • Update internal line lists for sales and procurement as required

  • The Key Account Merchandising Support role is to provide tactical support backing strategic sales, sourcing, costing, and product development initiatives; specifically with our Key Accounts Team.
  • This includes managing information across cost sheets, spec sheets, quotes, samples, coordinating information to our procurement and NSO teams, and providing analytical support to the Key Accounts Team.
  • Work with senior members of the Key Accounts and sales teams to define the scope, requirements and strategy for each project (customer/order)
  • Request quote sheets from vendors and ensure they are completed and accurate

  • Role Overview
  • This role is responsible for managing a variety of internal projects that support the Key Account Business Objectives - coordinating with the Key Account Merchandising and sales teams, customers (when required), overseas vendors, designers, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Review for accuracy and compliance with each customer's standards, labelling, and packaging to ensure accurate costs; pass quotes and detailed information to Procurement to set up and order
  • Follow up on sourcing, costing, samples, customer spreadsheets, uploading information to customer portals, and detailed organization of various key account projects/orders/information
  • Compile and review customer vendor guides for special requirements, requests, packaging, discounts/markdowns, and compliance - communicating impacts to other departments as necessary
  • Follow up on commits/orders/POs, including special requirements (labels, packaging, retail ticketing) for each order
  • Liaise with the NSO team to confirm final POs match original commits (dates, quantities, etc.) and keep the Senior Key Account team informed of unexpected issues or delays
  • Coordinate sending/receipt, review, and approval of samples between vendors and the Senior Key Account Team
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and analysis as requested
  • Other duties and special projects as required by management

  • Post-secondary education related to Business is a plus
