Responsibilities

  • Lead technical accounting research and preparation of position papers; document conclusions of key judgments and estimates with management and external auditors
  • There will also be involvement with quarter end close activities including providing auditors documentation to support the accounting conclusions made.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • CA or equivalent qualification required;
  • 5 to 8 years combined experience in technical accounting, including Big-4 accounting firms and/or Controllership within large multinational, publicly-held companies;
  • ability to effectively communicate status, issues, risks and opportunities with Corporate Financial Reporting leadership team;
  • Proven ability to communicate complex topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience, including meeting facilitation and presentations;

Nice to have

  • Exposure to ERP accounting and finance systems such as SAP preferred;

Compensation

  • The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
