About the role
- As a Revenue Accountant, you will play a key role within Kikoff's growing accounting and finance team.
- You will serve in a team of revenue recognition subject matter experts at the Company and ensure that Kikoff's revenue and revenue-adjacent reporting remains compliant with ASC 606, ASC310, and ASC326.
- Additionally, you will be responsible for revenue monthly close activities.
Responsibilities
- Applying ASC 606 and company policies to determine proper revenue recognition for SaaS subscription, partner revenue share as well as usage-based models
- Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue close processes by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, analyzing variances, and creating disclosures
- Reconcile data between systems/sources identify discrepancies and collaborate with data and engineering to determine root causes and propose solutions
- Partner across multiple cross-functional teams as the leader for all revenue accounting related matters on new products and product feature updates

Requirements
- Prepare documentation and schedules required to respond to audit requests related to revenue accounting
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in revenue accounting, ideally with a mix of industry and public accounting experience

Nice to have
- Experience working at a late-stage or public Fintech, lending, financial services or e-commerce / marketplace / internet company(ies) with high transaction volumes preferred
- Experience with ETL tools and other data transformation tools (Alteryx, Metabase, Snowflake, etc.) is a plus
- Experience with SOX and internal controls is a plus
Compensation
- $120,000 - $130,000 USD
