About the role
- You collaborate with special education teams, general educators, parents, and related services providers to create inclusive, data-driven intervention plans.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services across language, articulation, fluency, voice, and social communication domains
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress, treatment effectiveness, and session data
- As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you deliver evidence-based speech and language services to students K-12 with language disorders, articulation delays, fluency concerns, voice disorders, and complex communication needs.

Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from a CAPCSD-accredited program
- Malpractice and professional liability insurance - fully covered by Thrive; no personal policy required
Nice to have
- Experience in school-based SLP (2+ years preferred, new grads welcome)
- Knowledge of RTI/MTSS frameworks
- Experience with AAC and assistive technology
- Bilingual fluency (Spanish or other languages highly valued)
- Experience with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and complex communication needs

Compensation
- is paid over 10 months, aligned to the school-year calendar.
- All figures below reflect the Greater Houston, TX market.
- $72,000 - $85,600,based on experience
