About the role

  • Exact assignments vary daily and will depend on experience.
  • Provide safe, pleasant, and attentive care for the children of the Ski + Ride School.
  • Directly oversee the emotional, physical, and social needs of children aged 3-14 for a maximum of 6 hours.

Responsibilities

  • When interacting with or supervising children, support staff emphasize children's emotional, physical, and social needs.
  • The Support Staff perform a wide variety of operational assistance both indoors and outdoors.
  • Manage any behavioral issues or incidents in a professional manner.
  • Maintain and transport Flaik equipment and other guest supplies throughout the day.
  • Within the Ski + Ride School, this individual will create a safe, pleasant, and attentive environment at all times.

Requirements

  • Great customer service or public relation skills are required.
  • Enjoys working with guests of all ages from 3 years to adults.
  • Willingness to work with children is required.
  • Experience working on a computer is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED (high school equivalency) is required.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.

Nice to have

  • Experience in service, outdoors and/or with children is preferred.

Compensation

  • The base hourly pay range above represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resorts hourly pay range for this position.
