About the role
- Transportation & Delivery Safely transport totes, drums, and tankers (ISO containers) containing hazardous and non-hazardous materials from company facilities to customer locations.
- Ensure hazardous material shipments are properly placarded, labeled, marked, and documented in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Loading & Material Handling Operate forklifts to safely load and unload chemical products and materials.
Responsibilities
- Compliance & Documentation Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report vehicle defects or maintenance needs.
- Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance on assigned trucks, pumps, hoses, and related delivery equipment.
- Maintain assigned vehicles in a clean, safe, and professional condition while ensuring preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
- Maintain safe, organized, and compliant chemical storage areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of bills of lading, hazardous materials shipping papers, inspection reports, driver logs, and other required transportation records.
- Maintain required DOT documentation and ensure all vehicle permits, licenses, and certifications remain current.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and reach as required.
