About the role
- Provide mechanical preventative maintenance on NeighborHealth systems and equipment such as belt and filter changes.
- Will remain on call twenty-four hours/day for any problems occurring during off-hours, on a rotated, bi-weekly basis.
- All mechanics will remain on call for emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Perform various maintenance and repairs on refrigeration, plumbing, heating and air conditioning equipment.
- Operate a variety of equipment and machines including saws and various hand and power tools to perform repair and maintenance work.

Requirements
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, H.V.A.C., carpentry, electricity and repairing equipment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Technical training and/or at least three year's experience as a maintenance person.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Grounds keeping
- General Maintenance and upkeep of entranceways, parking lots, wells, and the neighborhood surrounding the property, including, but not limited to: trash removal, sweeping, property repairs, landscaping, graffiti removal, snow removal, ice melt, and any other tasks which fall under these categories.
- Biohazard Containment
- Pick Up Biohazard Waste Boxes
- Replace Light Bulbs
- Shredder Pick Ups
Compensation
- Pay Range: starting at $24/hr up to $36/hr based on relevant experience
