About the role

  • You will be responsible for supporting two Colorado Agilent LDG/NASD labs with on-site installation, maintenance and repair of Agilent and multi-vendor systems solutions.
  • Our multifaceted product lines include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems.
  • Instrument technologies may include the following, among numerous others:

Responsibilities

  • Services & Support
  • Support equipment reliability by advising users on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance
  • Deliver fully integrated solutions, including peripherals, communications, operating systems and applications software

Requirements

  • Bachelor's within a science field is helpful - e.g. chemistry, analytical chemistry biochemistry, biotechnology or similar
  • 4+ years experience in a similar position or experience as an end user
  • Experience with the Agilent solutions is desired
  • Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving

Nice to have

  • Agilent provided instrument training is highly preferred
  • cGMP regulated environment experience preferred

Skills

  • HPLC's (1260/1290, LCMS & QTOF, BioInerts, etc.)
  • Flame AA
  • UV-Vis Spectrophotometers
  • OligoPro II Capillary Electrophoresis
  • Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems, relating most often to hardware
  • Performs maintenance and repairs
  • Performs instrument installation and qualification
  • ACE is the primary method for execution of qualification testing
  • Mentor other service engineers and instrument users on Agilent instrument systems

Compensation

  • The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $43.12 - $67.37/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits.
