Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Cisco Business Units and external suppliers to anticipate, document, and validate the performance signatures and behavior of power circuits, including board mount power modules.
- Use technical expertise and independent thinking to identify contributing factors to design issues and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Communicate complex technical information effectively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment to support product development and innovation.
- Component Engineer to join our team, focusing on electronic product design and multidisciplinary power delivery to support the development of next-generation products.
- This role is critical to driving robust, defensive design implementations and ensuring the seamless integration of power circuits within our systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or equivalent fields.
- Experience resolving issues related to production and field failures.
Nice to have
- Supplier relationship management experience
- Familiarity with IPC-9592B and JESD22 standards on reliability evaluation requirements for Power Conversion Devices and Semiconductor IC/packaged solid state devices.
- Deep knowledge of mixed signal and power components, including their, manufacturing processes, process control, and testing strategies.
- Demonstrated competency in driving rigorous quality control measures and continuous improvements to ensure product quality standards and reliability are consistently met.

Compensation
- The starting salary range posted for this position is $140,800.00 to $183,000.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benef

- Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time.
