About the role

  • We are seeking a Technical Chief of Staff to serve as the operational backbone of the Network Engineering team.
  • This role sits at the intersection of engineering execution, project management, and cross-functional communication, ensuring that department priorities move forward, team stay aligned, and stakeholders-both internal and external-are kept informed.
  • The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically fluent, and comfortable managing both people-facing and process-facing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and drive execution of the Network Engineering department's priority list, ensuring initiatives stay on track and roadblocks are surfaced early.
  • Own project management for corporate goals tied to Network Engineering, tracking milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage the engineering ticketing queue, including oversight of staffing levels and performance across the queue.
  • Communicate directly with building stakeholders (building owners, property managers) and internal team members regarding network performance improvements, outages, and ongoing issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Nice to have

  • Experience in telecommunications, ISP, networking, project management, or technical operations is a plus, but not required.

Compensation

  • The estimated annual base salary for this role is $70,000-$80,000 plus bonus potential.
  • Compensation is dependent on experience and skillset.
