Build and maintain strong relationships with MD elected officials, staff, and community stakeholders to support public affairs objectives
Assist in developing positions on key issues, drafting memos, and preparing summaries and foundational analysis to inform state-level strategies
Strong relationship-building and coalition-building abilities
You will manage a defined local-government portfolio, building and sustaining relationships with elected officials, staff, and community stakeholders.
You will provide essential support to proactively monitor local issues, elevate concerns early, and align local activities with broader state-level strategies.

3-5 years in public affairs, government relations, community engagement, or a related field
experience with county or local level government processes is highly valued
proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools
Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable with a strong ability to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
Passion for engagement and the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences

We offer a competitive salary range of $95,400 to $138,075 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills.
