About the role
- This role combines advanced data engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps discipline, and applied AI development.
- The Senior Associate will operate as a senior individual contributor - owning major platform components while partnering closely with leadership and business teams.
- This is a hands-on technical role with meaningful scope and influence.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain production-grade SQL data pipelines (e.g., dbt + Snowflake + Python)
- Build and develop the use of AI in the form of: LLM apps, RAG architectures, Custom GPTs & Agent systems
- Support AWS-based infrastructure including VPCs, ECS, EKS, S3, etc.
- Containerize services using Docker and manage workloads in Kubernetes
- Build reusable modules and maintain code standards
- Deliver executive-ready summaries of platform and AI initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelors degree with 5-8 years of experience in: data engineering, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure
- Requisite experience in AI Application development including LLM APIs and RAG Pipelines
- Advanced Python proficiency
- Experience implementing CI/CD and DevOps best practices
- Experience in wealth management, asset management, or fintech
- Experience designing secure AI architectures
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
Skills

- Compensation at Jordan Park includes a base salary, discretionary year-end bonus, benefits and other perks.
- We apply a total reward philosophy when determining compensation terms.
- The expected base salary for this role in San Francisco, California will range from $125,000 to $160,000 per year commensurate with experience, job-related skills, relevant education, licenses and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
