- Job Description Location: New York, NY Condé Nast is seeking a strong editor with a deep understanding of health to work on advertiser-supported editorial condition and wellness stories across its portfolio of sites.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Manage department administrative tasks such as invoicing and creating supplier contracts
- You will also perform editorial-adjacent administrative tasks and work on organic editorial content initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a digital editor.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to follow an ever-evolving content calendar.
- Must be comfortable overseeing multiple stories at once, all at various stages of the writing process.
- Experience working across multiple publications simultaneously, adapting pitches, writing, and editing to align with each brand's ethos
- Experience working with freelance writers, copy editors, and fact checkers.
- Basic knowledge of image sourcing through platforms such as Getty.
- Experience and familiarity with SEO best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism or a related field

Compensation
- The requested salary range for this position is from $85,000 - $100,000

- This position will report to the VP, Health Content Lead.
- Pitch, assign and edit editorial and advertiser-supported wellness and condition-specific stories, while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy
- Stay current on emerging health trends, sports news, medical research, and wellness conversations to identify timely content opportunities
- Ensure all content adheres to editorial guidelines, medical accuracy standards and sponsored content requirements
