About the role

  • Headquartered in Cordova, TN, Stratas Foods is a 50/50 joint venture formed in October 2008 between ACH Food Companies and Archer Daniels Midland Company.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the safe disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and reassembly of pumps, sanitary piping, processing equipment, and production line components.
  • Maintain production areas through cleaning of floors, drains, overhead structures, and other facility components to support a safe, sanitary, and audit-ready environment.

Requirements

  • Produces accurate documentation and maintains required production and sanitation records.
  • Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work with heights
  • Equipment/Software Skills: Basic computer skills required.
  • Physical: Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work with heights
  • Safely handle and apply sanitation chemicals while following all chemical handling procedures and required PPE guidelines.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing, beverage, pharmaceutical, or industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience performing equipment sanitation, operating CIP systems, or working with production equipment is a plus.
  • Related Experience: Previous experience in a food manufacturing, beverage, pharmaceutical, or industrial manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Basic computer skills required.

  • Follows written procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures accurately.
  • Demonstrates flexibility by learning multiple processes and supporting various production areas.
  • Fills in for temporary or permanent vacancies as business needs require.
  • Complies with all Stratas Foods policies, GMPs, HACCP, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
