About the role

  • The work is repetitive and is performed according to schedules and instructions for specific tasks.
  • Work is evaluated through observation while in progress and inspection of completed assignments. - Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
  • School/Facility Service - Responds promptly to school/facility needs; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meet commitments.

Requirements

  • Qualifications - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Must have ability to work with adults and children of various backgrounds.
  • Other Qualifications - Prior experience with Material Safety Data Sheets is preferred.
  • Must be able to interpret labels on cleaning materials and operational manuals and to be alert for potential hazards.
  • The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit.

Benefits

  • Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus six months previous custodial experience is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Specific abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
