About the role

Perform preventive maintenance tasks on heavy mobile equipment, including wheel loaders, haul trucks, and other large machinery, according to established schedules and procedures.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and system failures, and perform corrective maintenance and repairs in a timely and effective manner.
Inspect equipment for defects, wear, and damage, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment, to perform maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment inspections, and repairs.
Document all maintenance activities into CMMS system
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance and Automation Manager.

Technical degree in Heavy Construction equipment, Diesel mechanics, a related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control diagrams, and technical manuals.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing automated and mechanical systems
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer proficiency for trouble shooting and documentation.
Ability to acquire and retain all necessary safety certifications
