Responsibilities
- Lead all planning cycles (Budget, Forecast, LRP) for the site, consolidating inputs across manufacturing, operations, quality, sciences, and G&A
- Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly reporting packages and dashboards; communicate financial performance clearly to the Site GM and functional leaders
- Build and maintain detailed capital project tracking (POs, invoices, spend vs. budget) across the site's active capex expansion program; support project owners in managing to budget
- Partner with Accounting on month-end close, accruals, reserves, standard costing, and COGS maintenance; ensure alignment between Adaptive Planning and the ERP
- Develop site KPIs in partnership with functional leaders; build financial and operational reporting infrastructure to drive accountability across the site
- Approve purchase requisitions and new hire requisitions in line with approved budget; design and maintain budget control mechanisms for manufacturing and capital
- Support commercial FP&A on pricing and capacity analyses relevant to site programs; align financial models with client commitments and program economics
- Lead scenario modeling and what-if analyses to support strategic and operational decisions, including capacity additions, batch scale changes, and customer mix
- Drive FP&A technology adoption, leveraging AI for automation and analysis.
- Play an active role in the site's ERP migration, ensuring FP&A data flows, cost structures, and reporting processes are properly designed and validated.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to successfully execute responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, collaborating across corporate functions and multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of US GAAP and technical pronouncements
- Knowledge of ERP and FP&A systems
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Nice to have
- 8+ years of progressive FP&A experience with demonstrated exposure to manufacturing operations
- FP&A experience in Pharmaceutical, biotech, or CDMO experience
- B.S. degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance or MBA
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel including Power Queries, Xlookups, Dynamic arrays, Agent mode/Copilot/Claude plug-in.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau experience, Adaptive Planning, SAP ECC, S/4HANA and/or MS Great Plains
