About the role
- The Phoenix, AZ location, is a fast-paced compounding pharmacy with a dynamic and energetic team of individuals.
- This position will utilize his/her skills and experiences to uphold pharmacy standards for counseling, dispensing, record keeping and quality assurance programs.
- A pharmacist will be able to demonstrate leadership by coaching and mentoring pharmacy team members.
Responsibilities
- counsels patients (pet owners) about their medications and maintains an accurate, up to date profile.
- Verify the work performed by support personnel, which includes compounding, repackaging, and final quality assurance and PV2
- Will dispense prescriptions to pets in accordance with policy and in conformance with regulations and laws dealing with the class of prescription; counsels patients (pet owners) about their medications and maintains an accurate, up to date profile.

Requirements
- Position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and a current Arizona pharmac ist license in good standing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Nice to have
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical calculations is preferred
- Veterinary Compounding experience preferred.
- Experience with PCAB accreditation preferred.
