About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains bioinformatics pipelines for data processing and quality control.
  • Collaborates with biologists, nutrition scientists, and clinicians to generate biological insights from complex datasets.
  • The successful candidate will lead the analysis and integration of large-scale multi-omics datasets generated from both animal models and human studies.
  • The Research Specialist performs bioinformatics research in a multidisciplinary environment investigating the interactions among nutrition, metabolism, immunity, aging, and chronic diseases.
  • This position leads the analysis and integration of large-scale multi-omics datasets generated from animal models and human studies to support biomedical research and data-driven discovery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Proficiency in R, Python, Linux/Unix, and statistical analysis.
  • Experience with microbiome, transcriptomics, proteomics, or metabolomics datasets.
  • Experience with single-cell RNA-seq analysis.
  • Experience with multi-omics integration and systems biology approaches.
  • Experience with pathway enrichment, network analysis, and visualization tools.
