About the role

  • Our team is focused on making Microsoft Purview the data security platform of choice for our customers, by delivering scale and performance for our key Microsoft 365, Azure, and Copilot workloads.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the data classification platform and customer experience
  • Analyzes customer and market signals, defines the product requirements, drives product development, ensures a smooth go-to-market, and follows up by tracking the product performance.

Requirements

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development - OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 4+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
  • Proficiency in using AI tools (e.g. Claude and Copilot) with the ability to create code-based prototypes
  • Required/minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development - OR equivalent experience.

Compensation

  • Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year.
