About the role

  • This position may be used as an advanced training position for consideration for promotion to a management position.
  • Is accountable for the quality of claim services as perceived by CCMSI clients and within our Corporate Claim Standards.
  • Review, assign and provide supervision of all claim activity for designated claims to ensure compliance with Corporate Claim Standards, client specific handling instructions and in accordance with applicable laws.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and oversee adjusters in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment while maintaining quality and service standards.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with adjusters, clients, and internal partners.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of California Workers' Compensation claims handling experience, including full claim investigation, evaluation, and resolution.
  • 3+ years of claims handling Supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of California Workers' Compensation regulations, claim practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Active California SIP, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Working knowledge of entry- and mid-level WC adjusting roles and workflows.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting PEO, temp agency, and agriculture accounts.
  • AIC, CPCU, or ARM preferred Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency - highly valued for communicating with claimants, employers, or vendors, but not required.

Compensation

  • Job Summary The Workers' Compensation Claim Supervisor is responsible for the investigation, adjustment and supervision of assigned California claims.
  • The posted salary reflects CCMSI's good-faith estimate in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.
  • Actual compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, geographic location, and internal equity.
