About the role

The position will develop budget estimating and tracking for capital and O&M projects to support mining operations.
Manage short- and long-term engineering tasks of design, problem solving, analysis, planning, and project evaluation to support the mine.
Elimination of inefficiencies within project scope, design, and execution and addition of value to the projects.
Implement a known schedule for identified work.

High School Diploma/GED equivalent with minimum 10 years of experience in mining or power generation OR college/technical degree in related field with 6+ years of experience required.

Represent Kosse and Bremond Mines in regulatory negotiations with the RRC, TXDOT, and MSHA, as necessary.
Experience managing technical or operations teams, working knowledge of software for the position (AutoCAD, MS Office, or hydraulic software), and leadership skills are strong qualifications and a competitive edge.
Working knowledge of scheduling, cost control, surveying, contractor management, drone applications, Maximo, engineering principles, and construction practices highly preferred.

Create annual capital and O&M budgets that result in meeting or exceeding corporate objectives including safety, financial and regulatory.
