In this highly impactful position, you will provide expert legal guidance on a wide range of matters-including contracts, litigation, labor & employment, regulatory topics, and risk mitigation.
You'll serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, shaping policies, influencing strategy, and ensuring compliance across a dynamic logistics environment.

Lead the drafting, negotiation, and review of a wide variety of contracts, including customer and vendor agreements, insurance policies, leases, and other critical legal documents.
Provide support on complex contractual issues, strategic initiatives, litigation, labor & employment matters, and other emerging needs.
Stay current on federal, state, and industry regulations-particularly DOT, FMCSA, and other applicable requirements-while developing a deep understanding of the businesses you support.
Develop, refine, and implement policies and standard operating procedures to reduce risk and reinforce compliance.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure legal strategies align with broader business goals.
Guide and manage the resolution of contractual disputes and other legal matters.
Lead and coordinate work with external legal counsel to support business growth and positive outcomes.
Develop strategies to reduce legal exposure for Trinity offices and Agents.
Maintain oversight of policy documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with legal developments.

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school required.
Ability to register and maintain a license as in-house counsel in Delaware required; an active Delaware law license is preferred.
