About the role

  • Expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of the project management lifecycle methodology.
  • Requires leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.
  • Oversees major projects comprised of multiple, interdependent projects/programs, which includes coordinating dependencies between key tactics and milestones within the projects in order to realize the overall collective benefit of the major project.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in formulating the design and direction of project management standards and policies within the department.
  • Mentors less experienced project managers and support staff.
  • Incumbents interface with executive project sponsors on a regular basis and manage horizontal, as well as vertical, internal collaboration efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Ability to assess and determine appropriate project management tools and methodologies for successful project outcomes.
  • Knowledge of principles, strategies, and desirable results for managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary efforts comprising parallel projects.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, interdisciplinary, high risk, large budget projects.
  • Must have experience in large scale complex project planning and reporting.
  • Requires ability to communicate and interact across facilities and at various levels.
  • Ability to mentor less experienced team members.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office suite of products, to include MS Project.

Nice to have

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) ® Certification, Scrum Master Certification (CSM), and/or Lean Six-Sigma Certifications preferred.

Compensation

  • $46.84 - $78.06 / hourBanner Health is committed to pay equity and transparency.
  • Actual pay determined at offer will be based on years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location, along with a review of current employees in similar roles to ensure pay equity is achieved and maintained.
  • The posted compensation range is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay Banner Health in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.This range is based on possible base salaries and does not include the value of our total rewards package.
