About the role

As a Software Development Engineer II, you will be a critical member of the team solving customer problems and driving the development and delivery of mission critical fraud controls across multiple platforms.
Contribute to the architecture and technical roadmap of our software systems, balancing short-term goals with long-term scalability and maintainability.

You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in product, program management, data engineering, and engineering to simplify complexity, deliver high-quality, scalable systems, and speed up the rollout of impactful features.
Partner with product managers, program managers, analysts, and engineers to gather requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions.
Take part in an on-call rotation to ensure the reliability and support of the team's services.
This creates a consistent, meaningful overlap that supports team norms and business needs.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
4+ years of experience writing production-grade code and delivering robust, scalable software solutions.
A strong background in modern distributed system architecture, including experience with cloud platforms, message brokers, and various database technologies.
Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language such as Go, Java/Kotlin, Python, or TypeScript.
A strong commitment to code quality, supported by experience with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.

The starting base salary range for this position is $124,000 - $155,000.
