About the role

- The Product Care Specialist (CAD Drafter) is responsible for generating technical models and drawings using computer aided drafting (CAD) tools.
Responsibilities
- Generate CAD models and drawings in Autodesk Inventor guidance from product Design Engineers.
- Understand and communicate basic design ideas and concepts to Engineering and other technical staff.
- Implement design changes and create drawing revisions based on customer and engineering feedback.
- Manage and maneuver files within a global file management system.
- Create and manage PCM documentation through the design change process to ensure timely completion.
- Create and manage Bill of Material lists as they pertain to projects and provide updates and modifications when necessary.
- Complete monthly report detailing design/application activities.
- Create technical dossier for completed projects.
- Use strong analytical skills to solve problems and develop new ideas and solutions.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry objects
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
- Administrative tasks as required to aid in the completion of projects.
- Minimum 4 years CAD experience required.
- Have experience with CAD software
- Autodesk Inventor required, PTC Creo Direct.
Skills
- Must be agile, self-motivated, and solution oriented.
- Strong mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Experience in fast paced project environment.
Compensation
- $65,000 - $90,000
