- The IT Installation Technician l is an entry-level position, responsible for the accurate installation and configuration of IT-related hardware as outlined in CAD and engineering specifications, requiring the execution of detailed tasks.
Responsibilities
- Build and install rack shelves.
- Perform basic soldering tasks.
- Learn, understand, and perform electrical pull sheets, wiring diagrams, electrical concepts, processes, and theories of 120VAC and 12VDC.
- Collaborate effectively with the IT Integration and Electrical Teams.
Requirements
- This position requires that you must be a US Citizen for consideration and meet all Federal Contractor employee requirements.
- We seek a candidate that is self-inspired to learn and demonstrates a high degree of customer service while positively contributing to our team.
- The position requires a basic understanding of electronics, proficiency in Microsoft Suite, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks in various work environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to understand and accurately follow detailed technical instructions and diagrams.
- Assistance required for anything heavier than 50 pounds.
- Must have the physical stamina to work in awkward positions and stand for prolonged periods.
- High school diploma or GED; further education in a technical field preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing.
